Trusted Advisor™ Program

The WeCare4®Trusted Advisor™ Program

As part of the overall WeCare4® value proposition, the WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ program provides a team of aging, special needs, and caregiving specialists trained and certified by WeCare4®, in collaboration with Stockton University’s Stockton Center on Successful Aging (SCOSA), School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and School of Health Sciences. The subject-matter experts we will use to develop this program will draw on gerontology, psychology, social work, eldercare management, and related fields. In addition to WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ generalists, the program will provide access to specialized WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ experts in critical areas, such as Medicare, elder abuse, eldercare law, financial/estate planning, and other critical areas. These specialists will support both the generalist WeCare4® Trusted Advisors™ and the clients they serve. Separately, Stockton University and WeCare4®️ will also collaborate on the development of education and training programs for family/friend caregivers and professional caregivers, certification for professional caregivers, and resources that will be used both within this program and independently.

The WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ assesses the client's needs and their urgency, obtains information regarding the situation and family dynamics, answers questions, provides informed and the necessary guidance, and connects clients to the wide range of resources, products, services and support available to them through the WeCare4® platform and community. They are trained and certified as WeCare4® Trusted Advisors™.

Each WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ is assigned a geographic area, ideally where that advisor resides, or at a minimum, where they have established knowledge, relationships, and community ties. We believe the strength of this program lies in its local, community‑based approach.

Each WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ posts their professional profile and their availability for advisory sessions in a WeCare4®-provided calendar and payment system where clients can book and pay for consultations. Clients can schedule an appointment with a specific WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ Generalist, or Specialist, or choose to speak with the next available one. A WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ Generalist provides ala carte consultation services/sessions. A WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ Specialist provides subject matter expertise. A WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ Concierge actively handles, coordinates, and manages “all” the needs of the client for the client.

In addition to serving individual clients, WeCare4® Trusted Advisors™ will also be trained and certified to support employees of corporate clients. Some corporate clients may offer the support of this program to their employees as part of their employee assistance benefit programs and may subsidize a portion or, in some cases, pay for the entire cost of the program. The exact nature of these WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ positions will depend on the needs of the client and how they wish to incorporate the program into their organization.

A WeCare4® Trusted Advisor™ who deepens their expertise in the resources and needs of a particular geography and wishes to take a more active WeCare4® leadership role in that community/geography, may apply to become a WeCare4® chapter leader or WeCare4® franchisee.
