If you are a short- or long-term care facility (such as adult daycare centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, hospice facilities, hospitals, or any other care facility serving the aging) looking for caregivers and staff (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and other health care professionals), clients, information, products, or services and register as a member (registration is free), here is what is available to you through WeCare4®:
- WeCare4® Career Center with two distinct sections
- "Care Facility" (subdomain careers.wecare4.com) which leverages the industry-leading Naylor Boxwood career center platform and is where a care facility can post any healthcare industry position (not just for caregivers) as well as gain assistance in positioning the care facility and its brand with prospective employees. A care facility can post jobs online quickly and easily, manage applications, search resumes, set up an email resume alert, and have access to highly talented experienced candidates, as well as access to resources and relevant content on finding and retaining talent. Discounted rates for members and multi-posting packages are also available. WeCare4® is also a member of the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN) which connects the career centers of nearly 300 prestigious professional associations and societies, offering job seekers more opportunities and employers the option for additional exposure through the Care Facility section of the WeCare4® Career Center.
- "In-Home" section where a patient or their representative can purchase and post job advertisements for in-home professional caregivers using the proven WeCare4® proprietary job specification, position requirements, profile, and candidate response management process in which candidates who express interest in a position are ranked according to how well they meet the needs of that position. Discounts for listings that extend for more than a month and multi-posting packages are available. This section could be very helpful in a care facility discharge process for those parties looking for some form of professional assistance in their home during that transition. It could also be a resource to find supplemental staff for its care facility. A care facility can also use this section of the Career Center to attract candidates that indicated that they are interested in both in-home and institutional jobs. In fact, we designed our in-home candidate application form to indicate whether a candidate desires to be considered for both in-home and care facility positions. To use this section, a care facility would first register as a member of the community as a care facility and then use the in-home job ad form for a “family/friend caregiver” looking for professional help to post a job ad. (This would be the best form to use as a care facility in this section of the Career Center.) The care facility then will be able to see candidates, if any, interested in its position.
Recognizing that a care facility may have access to a job board, both sections of our Career Center could be an additional source of not only much needed caregiver candidates but another source of candidates with healthcare industry experience and our platform may provide some additional important tools to help manage the recruiting process.
- WeCare4® can definitely be a channel and a platform for a care facility to promote its brand to and directly reach all of the relevant segments of our community. The WeCare4® platform was designed to be used globally and can provide a global audience to a care facility that desires this extended audience. It also was designed to help break down silos in the care of the aging and to provide this global community the opportunity and ability to share information, resources, technology, and ideas. Opportunities for marketing and promotion include the following:
- WeCare4® Marketplace is a directory of the following (meant to better serve the aging and their caregivers and to assist caregivers with every aspect of day-to-day life management):
- Paid listings of agencies, care facilities, and a wide range of other products, services, providers, and resources relevant to caregivers. A care facility can purchase and post a standard listing for their business with an extensive description of their services (if desired) including an opportunity to use images and media in that listing as well as the opportunity to purchase a featured listing.
- A selection of products and services curated by WeCare4®
- Access to the special WeCare4® telehealth services provided by MDLIVE that a care facility can offer to employees, clients, and others in their network. For the special WeCare4® Member program rates of $13.95 a month for individuals and $18.95 per month for families, there is easy access to on-demand telehealth doctor visits in minutes with unlimited use and with no access fees, no consult fees, no copays, and no contracts. There are also very attractive enterprise-level employer-sponsored and/or insurance-payer embedded plans. - Other Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities :
- There are both site (specific pages/sections or overall) and social channel advertising and sponsorship opportunities, which would resonate with prospective clients and caregivers who visit the site and our social channels. There are discounts and special programs available to sponsors.
- There is also the opportunity to sponsor content (including content written and provided by a care facility) in the WeCare4® Forum on a number of topics including but not limited to care and caregiving. There will also be other resources listed in this portion of the site that will be a good source of information and assistance for family/friends and professional caregivers. It would be good for a care facility's brand to be associated with some or all of those other resources.
- There will also be meeting and event sponsorships available and as members of the community, the care facility will have access to both virtual and in-person meetings and events where you can share, learn, and meet others in the community.
- A care facility could also sponsor, host, or partner with WeCare4® to offer education, training, professional development, and certification programs for caregivers.
